UK holiday 2024

Due to Girlguiding announcement to consider selling 5 of the UK activity centres, the FOWWC trip planned to WADDOW in 2024 has been cancelled. We are looking at other venues and options of what we could offer and more information will be sent out.

We are happy to welcome new members. Please contact us using the form below or via our email.

You can join as an individual, joint or a Trefoil Guild and membership is for a year. We send out 3 or 4 newsletters and hold on-line quizzes Trips depend on volunteers to organise but we try to run one UK trip a year. Our AGM is held in the spring, which is usually at Pax Lodge.

The Friends of the World Centres have been running for 30 years and in that time have raised over £100k to support the work of the WAGGGS centres in Mexico, India, Switzerland, Africa and UK.

The work of the centres promotes community work locally along with opportunities for women (and girls) to travel overseas and develop their skills and self confidence.
